Dress code

Ladies - Evening dress

Please feel free to wear a short or long evening dress. There is no need to cover your shoulders or to wear a hat during the ceremony.

Gents - Black tie optional

It is typical to wear black tie at weddings in Turkey and many of the Turkish gents will be wearing them. However, it is also not unusual for people to wear suits and ties. Please feel free to choose either.

For both ladies and gents, all forms of traditional dress are welcome. There are people from many different cultures and religions attending.

During the ceremony many of the Jewish men will be wearing kippot (a small skull cap). The kippot will be available on arrival. You are welcome to wear one; however, there really is no obligation to do so and nobody will take offence if you do not choose to wear one.
